Montreal Comiccon Updates
MONTREAL (QC), May 18, 2021 – Due to the ever-evolving COVID-19 situation, Montreal Comiccon has decided to postpone its twelfth edition scheduled for July 9 to 11, 2021, to next summer, from July 8 to 10, 2022 at Palais des congrès. The entire team wants to ensure the safety of all visitors as well as offering to fans a convention experience as remarkable as in the past years.
‘’The Comiccon family which includes everyone that has attended over the years features a wide range of different origins and diversities. Everyone shares one trait in common: We all care about our fellow humans. For this reason, we must put safety as our #1 priority collectively. And collectively we will return and when we do, it will be in greater numbers! Braver and bolder!’’ said Alex La Prova, the event’s co-founder.
More details on the 2022 edition will be released in the coming months.
In the meantime, pop culture fans will be able to get together during a one day only Virtual Comiccon that will take place on Saturday, July 10. The online event will be free to access live on the Montreal Comiccon Facebook page. The full schedule as well as more information will be revealed in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on our social media newsfeeds for all the latest information.
