Montreal (Quebec), February 12, 2025. – This summer, Montreal Comiccon is set to celebrate its 15th edition, from July 4 to 6, 2025, at the Palais des congrès. Fifteen years of gatherings to share a common passion: pop culture. To kick off this milestone, the Comiccon team is excited to announce the first four guests in the 2025 lineup. Straight out of the Shire and the depth of Mordor, ELIJAH WOOD (Frodon), SEAN ASTIN (Sam), BILLY BOYD (Pippin), and for the first time in Montreal, DOMINIC MONAGHAN (Merry), will be with us this summer!
Meet Sean Astin and Billy Boyd on Saturday, July 5, and Sunday, July 6. Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan will be present on Saturday, July 5 only. Plus, don’t miss the unique opportunity to spend an evening in the company of your four favourite hobbits on July 5 at 8:00 p.m. for A Night in the Shire with the Four Hobbits, presented by Sorcière & Magie. Three floors to discover
As in the past, Comiccon is spread across three floors of the Palais des congrès, with the second floor reserved for the sprawling market and artist alley, the fifth floor hosts all the events and some activities, while the seventh floor houses the Autograph Area.
On Saturday evening, some of the world’s best and most devoted cosplayers will don spectacular costumes and embody their favorite heroes in the widely popular Masquerade contest. On Sunday, hear some of the best performances at the Idol Showcase Kira Kira START! – featuring lip-syncing and dancing to songs by popular idol groups. Video games, tabletop and role-playing game zones, conferences, workshops, cosplay and more await you at this year’s Montreal Comiccon!
