PLUS, MONTREAL-BASED WRITER-DIRECTOR TRIFORCE RKSS WILL BE PRESENT TO TALK ABOUT THEIR NEW MOVIE ‘WE ARE ZOMBIES’

Montreal (Quebec), Wednesday, May 22, 2024 – Yet another week full of surprises for the 14th edition of Montreal Comiccon! Accomplished actors ALAN TUDYK and HENRY IAN CUSICK are added to the already impressive 2024 guest list.

 

Alan Tudyk is best known for his roles as Hoban “Wash” Washburne in the space western television series Firefly and movie Serenity (2005), the sarcastic reprogrammed imperial security droid, K-2SO, in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), and the main role of Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle in the Syfy series Resident Alien.

 

Henry Ian Cusick is a Peruvian-Scottish actor and director best known for his role as Desmond Hume in the ABC television series Lost, of Stephen Finch in Shonda Rhimes political thriller series Scandal, of Marcus Kane in The CW science fiction series The 100, and of Russell “Russ” Taylor in the 2020 CBS action series MacGyver.

Meet them both at Montreal Comiccon from July 5 to 7 at Palais des congrès!

 

Anouk Whissell, François Simard et Yoann-Karl Whissell of RKSS will also be present at the event on Friday, July 5 only to meet fans and to jump on stage to talk about their brand-new film We Are Zombies. The film is based on the cult comic book series by Jerry Frissen and Guy Davis, The Zombies That Ate the World (aka The Z Word), published by Humanoids. The series, published in the legendary French magazine Métal Hurlant in 2003, has been praised by horror legends such as Georges A. Romero, Joe Dante and Tobe Hooper, and translated into several languages.

RKSS directed the feature films Turbo Kid (2015) and Summer of ’84 (2018), both of which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and won numerous international awards. We Are Zombies won the audience award at the last Fantasia International Film Festival, and won the Eye of the Beholder audience award at the Brugggore Filmfestival in Switzerland.
