Bio

Henry Ian Cusick is a Peruvian-Scottish actor and director best known for his role as Desmond Hume in the ABC television series Lost, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. In 2012, Cusick took on the role of Stephen Finch in Shonda Rhimes political thriller series Scandal alongside Kerry Washington. He followed that up with a long stint as Marcus Kane in The CW science fiction series The 100, in which he also directed a couple of episodes. In 2017, he appeared on the short-lived Inhumans series with Anson Mount and Serinda Swan. He later appeared on the thriller TV series The Passage, as Doctor Jonas Lear, which was based on the trilogy of novels by Justin Cronin.

Most recently, he appeared as Russell "Russ" Taylor in the 2020 CBS action series MacGyver with Lucas Till, as Avery McCallister in David E Kelly’s crime drama Big Sky, and as the voice of Artham Wingfeather in The Wingfeather Saga.

He also starred as Jesus in The Gospel of John (2003).
